  • Leave a positive review for a business or recognize a job well done

  • Create encouraging chalk art where people in your community will see it

  • Volunteer with a local organization

  • Support a local business and treat someone to lunch

  • Pick up trash on a walk or clean up landscaping in a shared space

  • Share good news on social media - highlight positivity

  • Be creative and do something for the betterment of someone else

  • Leave a treat on the porch of a friend / neighbor, or share it with them

  • Share a song, playlist, podcast, or book with someone who might enjoy it

  • Send a voice message to a family member and tell them 2-3 things you admire in them

  • Help with a chore normally 'assigned' to another person in your house

  • Share something you've learned with someone you love

  • Invite a family member for some quality 1:1 time

  • Leave uplifting notes on windshields or other public surfaces

  • Buy the cup of coffee or leave a gift card for the person behind you to use

  • Write notes to a special patient or friend and drop off at a local hospital / nursing home

  • Strike up conversation with someone at a store or restaurant - ask them about their day

  • Pull in your neighbor’s garbage cans
